God

At Queer Ministry, We worship the Creator, Healer, and Provider of the Universe, also known as the unchanging and eternal One True Living God. We praise God as the Liberator from oppression and the Boundary of Consent. We view God as the unwavering frequency of all things Joyful, Good, Just, Kind, True, Peaceful, Whole and Merciful. Genesis 1; Isaiah 58; Ezekiel 4; Matthew 6

Jesus

Queer Ministry is firmly grounded in the life, ministry, resurrection, and salvation of Jesus Christ. Jesus defeated sin and death. While Christian Nationalists commodify the image of Jesus, we come with the Power of Jesus to love, heal, resurrect, and liberate all people oppressed by religious and state violence. Luke 9; John 5; Matthew 1

Holy Spirit

We view the Holy Ghost as the Spirit of God. Scripture says Jesus leaped in Mary’s womb with the Holy Ghost. John the Baptist foretold that Jesus would baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire. Jesus warned, “All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven.Matthew 1; Luke 1; Matthew 3; Matthew 12

Divine Ancestors

People born of water and spirit. Divine Ancestors walked the Earth in human form and walked with the Creator in spirit. Their lives are dedicated to the kingdom of heaven and righteousness. Their prayers and healing serve as living currents pushing us closer to God. Mark 9; John 3

Angels

Angels are messengers of God, sent to deliver direction, answers, comfort, and understanding. They light the path to God's will. Fallen Angels that serve the great dragon, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12

Guides

We acknowledge and honor all divine creations of God that labor for the Kingdom of Heaven in the past, present, and future: every particle, atom, molecule, mineral, nutrient, organism, plant, land, animal, angel, ancestor, guide, person, community. Genesis 8; 1 Kings 17

Consent

Consent is the act of coming to an agreement. Breaking consent interpersonally can impact trust, autonomy, and health. Lying is breaking consent with truth, and abuse is breaking consent with love. God honors all commitments. God respects the autonomy of their creations. Ezekiel 4; 2 Peter 3

Marriage

Marriage is a covenant, promise, and commitment. In marriage, they shall be one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Nothing shall enter into God's Kingdom that defiles, or works abomination, or lies: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Mark 10; Revelation 19

Sin

All unrighteousness is sin. Sin is distance from God in mind, body, heart, energy, or Spirit. Sin is distance from the characteristics of God and the fruit of the spirit: truth, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. God is liberation: sin seeks to chain us to defeat and eternal death. Mark 10; Galatians 5; 1 John 5; Isaiah 58; Revelation 18

Idolatry

Idolatry is placing divine or man-made creations above the Creator in the heart, mind, body, or spirit. We may view them as more real, powerful, or impactful than God. We can commit idolatry by honoring the fruit of poisonous trees: hate, violence, and death. We can turn ideas, policies, people, or objects into idols by confusing or disrespecting the hierarchy of God over all. Leviticus 19; Galatians 5

Fornication

Fornication is the physical act of agreement with evil beings and unrighteousness. "Babylon the great is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Galatians 5; Revelation 18

Adultery

Adultery is the act of breaking divine marriage and covenant in heart, mind, body, or spirit. The one who commits adultery lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul. In marriage, they shall be one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Proverbs 6; Hosea 4; Mark 10; Galatians 5; Revelation 18

Lust

We experience lust when we desire things that are opposite to God's nature of supporting and sustaining life on Earth. We can be deceived to believe these things are good, when they are actually harmful. We may believe the harm is worth the reward. We can lust after ideas, policies, people, or objects that misconstrue hate and oppression over love and liberation for all. In the end, we must remember that nothing formed against God shall prosper. Exodus 15; Numbers 11; I John 2

Witchcraft

Witchcraft describes any practice that distorts the design and the laws given by the Creator to govern earth and the spirit realm. This term has been used in conjunction with racist and sexist violence. It is important we remove bias from our hearts and perceptions. We must remain tuned to the pure frequency of truth and love from God, which determines what is of God and what is not. 2 Chronicles 33; Matthew 12

Principality

A principality is a system of lies, deception, violence, and evil that uses many parts to work together against the kingdom of God. Principalities unite their limited power to cause as much damage as possible. Their goal is eternal death and damnation. Joint-heirs with Christ are redeemed and protected from evil principalities. Ephesians 1; Colossians 2
